Welcome to your weekly Tarot for the Soul reading!
If you have been guided to this reading, then you are in the right place, my friend. This reading is meant for you.
As always, I have drawn two cards from my Osho Zen Tarot deck.
The first card represents the gifts that will be showered upon you this week by the Universe. We always have gifts being delivered to us—and spiritual mastery lies in slowing down enough to be able to cultivate gratitude. Our soul longs to say “thank you”… and, so, by taking this moment to give thanks, we generate even more positive energy so that more and more gifts may manifest in the future!
The second card represents your areas for growth this week. Remember: there is no life without challenge…no light without dark, no yin without yang. Life in human form is a mixed bag of circumstances and lessons. It is in our highest wisdom to recognize and embrace all aspects, even the ones that are painful. Our soul needs challenges in order to grow. So, stand and face these growth opportunities with an open, courageous, loving heart.
The ordinary is beautiful.
As you may remember, this card (8 of Rainbows) came up for you back in early July, also. Having this card come up again so quickly indicates that this is a theme for you to ponder and learn from, in this season of your life.
So, what is ordinariness?
Our fast-paced mainstream culture of glitz and glamour despises the ordinary. We have been taught since childhood that what counts are diamonds, wallets stuffed with green, Hollywood flashbulbs, and resumes full of fancy diplomas. …yet, in reality, what matters to a happy life is whether we feel self-love and peace in the most ordinary of moments.
This week, as you are taking a shower, really revel in how good it feels to take a shower: to smooth the soap on your body and sing a few tunes.
This week, as you are driving in your car or riding your bicycle, feel how good that feels. Feel the curves of the road in your spine, and look ahead to view the passing birds. Fly with the birds.
This week, as you are putting your hands into the dirt of your garden, observe your breath and feel the kinship with the beetles and worms. Feel the peace that flows from Nature into you.
Make it your aim to feel the splendid and glorious ordinariness this week—and celebrate it! Treasure these “small” moments that make up your life. Claim them as your gift.
You don’t need to go to Hollywood or New York City to be a success. You don’t need to be a millionaire to be abundant.
Everything you need is right here. In this moment.
This week presents a very lovely learning challenge, as indicated by the Abundance Card (King of Rainbows).
The figure in this card enjoys a union of opposites: he holds a pink lotus, representing the grace and beauty of the feminine. He also has an exposed hairy chest, representing the strength of his masculinity. He sits atop the book of life, drawing from its secrets, regardless of societal conventions and stereotypes. He is a perfect blend of masculine and feminine. He is his own soulmate. He has no need to search outside himself for completion: because both energies, masculine and feminine, are found within.
This week, your challenge for growth is this: Can you stretch yourself outside your normal comfort zones, and bring your masculine and feminine energies more into balance?
For those of you who identify as male, be aware this week of all the ways you can bring more feminine energies into your life. Break through stereotypical, standard societal ideas about what it means to be a man, and intentionally cultivate feminine aspects within you: such as intuition, free-flowing emotions, patience, faith, ease, grace, softness, and slowness. Bring more yin into your beautiful yang. Balance yourself as a human be-ing, and feel the fullness of all that you can be.
If you identify as a female, this week look for the ways in which you can channel more masculine energies into your daily life. The energies of the masculine are the energies of focus, intensity, power, strength, speed, and logical thought. These can be good energies when consciously chosen and embodied in balance with all the feminine aspects of you. Bring more yang into your beautiful yin. Balance yourself as a human be-ing, and feel the fullness of all that you can be.
Everything you need is right here. Within you.
Hope you enjoyed the reading, loves!
As I post this today (Monday), I am gearing up for an afternoon of meditation during the solar eclipse. Wow! These Lions Gate energies have been really intense. If you feel tired, super emotional, or generally off-kilter today and during the next few days, be gentle with yourself. This time is not the time for hard work or pushing yourself. Take it easy. Drink lots of water. Remember to breathe and meditate and if you feel up to it, some gentle yoga or walking out in Nature is recommended.
Sending love to you.
As always, if you’d like to meet with me for a private reading, please do get in touch! I’d love to be with you. I offer readings via phone & Skype.
Hugs, and So Much Love!
